Immediately after opening the pack, the card was placed into a sleeve and a protective toploader, then stored in a dark place.
(It was removed from the sleeve only once to take these photos.)

While I am not a professional grader, I do not see any major scratches, stains, or whitening on the edges. It is a beautiful card with a luxurious holographic/parallel finish. However, if you are overly concerned about minor factory imperfections or are looking for a flawless, gem-mint condition item, please refrain from purchasing.
